NO has 5 loses and we would have 4 so no they wouldn't be #1.

Also at worse Seattle finishes with 4 losses so there isn't a way for NO to be the #1 seed.

Law of physics would say there is no way the ball can bounce the other direction with out hitting and object(arm). the ball going at that speed forward can't bounce that way.

Just curious but if the ball hit his arm hard enough wouldn't there be a mark or welt of some sort? Not that it could over turn the call on the field.

Yeah but film evidence must be there, try to fling a ball 5 yards with one wrist while diving in the opposite direction, not going to happen at full speed! Go 49ers!!

It clearly hit his arm... whether the ball got any part of the turf or not is the other question, but like the "Immaculate reception", there was no way it could be determined whether it hit the ground or not.

Yeah, they're looking for indisputable VISUAL evidence. I saw the replay five or six times from different angles, and there was just no way to say that it hit the ground. Is it likely it did? Sure. But you can't overturn based on the physics of how the ball bounced. You've got to be able to see it, and I certainly couldn't even when they slowed it down to play-by-play.

Physics says it hit his arm. No way the ball can change direction with that much speed going forward. It has to hit an object(arm to change its direction).


I agree I think it hit the turf and then his arm to change the direction of the ball.
