Laws of physics would indicate that the only reason why the ball bounced the way it did was because it hit a hard surface such as the turf. The ball was no where near the receiver's pads or helmet to make the ball bounce/deflect the way it did.

With all that said i hope they screw the Hawks on this call.

I thought the ball looked pretty flat before it bounced back up which suggest it hit the ground and not his arm.
