This board really likes to make guarantees it seems like. Should be a good game with 2 teams that know each other very well. Very excited to see Wes Welker back for this one as he was definitely missed in the last Broncos/Chargers game.

Yeah, it obviously doesn't matter, but the last thread I saw guaranteeing a win was for the Bengals over SD.

There was a guy on the old BSPN board many might remember, RockyMountainHigh7 (RMH7), dude had a way of blowing up predictions, guaranteed a Den victory over Raiders and the epic 59-14 game followed, that one really iced it.

There is poster on this board (something like bsktballer) who I've come to think of as a sort of antithesis to RMH, since early in the season he began several trolling threads predicting Broncos losses, followed by Denver wins. Curiously, I think he is now predicting a Broncos win. : panics :

yep, no guarantees in the playoffs. i will take the chargers plus the 10 points though. 10 points is a lot considering they were evenly matched in their 2 games this season.

I think the fact that SD beat Denver in Denver not too long ago might mean that Denver will not be caugth by surprise by SD. I think Denver takes this game more than seriously and beats up on SD unless the weather becomes a factor.

I think the Pats win easy too. Indy is 1 dimensional on offense and will most likely get shut down. Bellicheck is the master at stopping 1 dimesional teams.

There are no surprises in division games. You play each other twice a year. Gameplans don't change all that much. I think Denver coming out flat in the last game was almost predictable based on them complaining about Thursday night games all week. They won't come out flat this week. SD will have to play their best game of the year.

The Chargers no the recipe to beat Manning & the Broncos.

1.No turnovers.
2.Run the Football down their throat. Basically control the clock.
3.Score touchdowns not field goals when in position to put points on the board.
4.Pass rush. If Manning is on the run he's nowhere near the QB he is when in the pocket.

One game at a time. It would be great to end Manning's season. I don't expect a win, but I do expect a close game.
