The TV revenue goes to the conference, not to Nebraska.
Each school gets $54 million of the tv money, right?

More than the $50 million they lose if they don't do a spring season? (obviously, you can see I haven't thought it all the way through)

It is unlikely a schedule will be released before the end of September. And the conference doesn't need to. Nebraska is bluffing to appease their fanbase.
Each school gets an equal disbursement of the money given.
Or Nebraska is leading the charge for other Big 10 teams that want to play.
If they can show the Big 10 has contractually ceded it's control OOC, then expect others to follow suit.
.
Yes, I believe it is $54 million dollars. Which is about $4 million per game played.
So why couldn't they allow Fox to make the same agreement with Nebraska, and just split it up among the conference? Even if Nebraska could just get $2 million a game (half of what they are getting now), that could still be $20 million.
If I'm Nebraska I'd take that payout over a questionable spring season that will likely just hurt my team competitively next September. It would be a risk, but money in hand can be better than money promised...especially in this environment.
54 million/14 teams = less than 4 million dollars for Nebraska.
Which again, makes it key, that the season was not cancelled, but rather postponed.
$54 million per team.
If Nebraska plays fall football, they aren't going to play spring football.
There is nothing to say the season isn't 'postponed' permanently.
The Big 10 is also contractually obligated to provide it's members a football schedule to play.
Where is it?
Contracts work two ways. That is their entire purpose.
It's like many of you have never entered into a contract.
.
Kindly cite where Nebraska has stated that.
Stop ad-libbing.

Nebraska cannot play a fall schedule and remain a member of the BigTen.
Kindly cite the contractual statute that says that.
Stop ad-libbing.
You said that Nebraska would make their own deal. How much do you think 1 network will offer for Nebraska's games?
The conference announced their intention to play in the spring. This has been well-reported.
Each school gets an equal disbursement of the money given.
The BTN would broker that. They already own them.
