He completely fell off the goddamn wagon! How the fuck do you start out as good as he did then turn a total 180! This is fucking bullshit! Clearly this motherfucker is not ready for the big leagues!
You fucking suck, Sipp.
I have two thoughts about this game.
My first is what everybody has already said which is why the hell is Jason Kubel playing. I feel like I am living in the twilight zone. Why Kubel gets playing time over a rhesus monkey is beyond me. The guy should be off the team.
Secondly, and I do not know if anybody else feels this way, but why is Tyler Skaggs untouchable? This guy does not look like a top of the rotation starter to me. He has had two good games all season. I understand that he is only 21 and this is just the seventh game he has pitched all year, but now already including this game, he has given up at least 5 earned runs in three of the seven games.
But that is not really it. I am more confused why he is untouchable because of his stuff. He only throws around 89-91 all the time. Maybe he might turn out to be a really good pitcher one day but I think that if you can get a front line ace like Cliff Lee, Tyler Skaggs should be made available.
I am way more excited about Archie Bradley than Tyler Skaggs. And honestly I am also more excited about Randall Delgado than Skaggs as well.
They just recently said that the phillies are now willing to listen on Cliff Lee. I would make Skaggs available in a package for him if the phillies would pick up half of Lee's contract. Corbin paired with Lee would immediately put us in position for a possible world series run. It is all about the pitching.
Btw, the thought of Cahill coming back makes me cringe. Uhh. I like our team so much better without him.
