The d'backs are 39-31 when Pollock starts. Coming into today, they were 15-18 when Pollock does not start the game. Now I hope the d'backs make an incredible comeback and win this game, but if they do not, their record obviously will fall to 15-19 when Pollock does not start a game.

I wonder if Gibson is aware of that statistic, or if he even cares.

And just to throw it out there, the d'backs were 25-25 coming into today when Jason Kubel starts the game.

That is all they have ever been been since Towers signed Kubel, just an average, run of the mill team.
