Yeah, I don't think it's the fact that Watkins is soft. He shouldn't have been playing, as he was already hurt. Yeah, he is a rookie and needs the game experience, but it's the preseason. It's not like Buffalo is expected to contend. Should have let his ribs heal.

Exactly. He originally bruised his ribs during the Steelers game. The team should've held him out for the rest of the preseason IMO to let him heal further. Now there's no telling how long he may be out.

Bruised ribs come with the territory. I suppose he gets a free pass because it's pre-season. In a regular season game, you gotta play through that.

He really looks like another Spiller out there so far, a guy Buffalo has never really figured out how to properly utilize.

He might be soft. I will say this is on coaching staff though. You know the guy iis making roster and yes he may need more time to develope as a rookie, but one preseason game is not making a guy ALL PRO

Now he sits longer in the developement process. You would think a guy you franchised the farm for would be okay with out huge reps.
