I do not think we should have held on to him but I do believe the FO could have gotten a better deal. They have been questionable to many times. re: Odor extension

little harder to judge trades compared to extensions and signings, in my opinion. we don't know what offers were available to them.

They had to move him. It just sucks they couldn’t channel their inner scott boras and start a bidding war.

I remember a few years ago where the Yankees used one trade deadline to rebuild. I think we helped them a little by taking the washed up carlos Beltran off their hands, but they also traded aroldis chapman to a team then the Yankees got him to come back to them in the offseason.

im not saying we have to be like the Yankees, but the last few seasons we have expected to see our front office expedite the rebuild thru the trade deadline and they made no progress.
