Well then we'll have to disagree on that one. My 1st goal every drive is to prevent first downs. Your chances of accomplishing that are much higher than getting a turnover. Since halfway through the second quarter the Saints have been moving almost at will.....those stops are way in the rear view mirror.

Of course forcing a punt is a GREAT strategy, but it's hardly viable.

And those stops happened. Detroit didn't score off them. That's not the defense's fault.

But to imply they don't matter. . . since they haven't gotten stops lately, aren't those stops very important? I'd rather be down 3 than 17.

All of the RB's are having a lot of room. The Saints line is dominating right now.
