McCaffery can throw the rock!Ways the Skins can win this game
The Lions self destructing which is something I don't see happening.
Outscoring the Lions. Like they did the Eagles the 2nd time around. Again, very unlikely. Unless a key Lion player(s) gets knocked out like Hurts did. I don't wanna see anyone get injured on any team n I don't really want them to win like that either.
The way the Bucs did it in week 2. This is the most feasible way imo. Bend but don't break defense giving up yards between the 20s, but hopefully tightening up in the red-zone. A couple turnovers wouldn't hurt and I can see Quinn and Campbell matching each other 4th down for 4th down.
I wonder if we have a fake punt play. Too bad they showed the WR pass with Brown to OZ in the Dallas game. That should've been money and would be a nice trick play to pull out the baag right now.
Yeah, I'm not sure it'll work either. The Skins pass defense is ranked pretty high right now, but I think that's more a product of the QBs they faced in the latter part of the season. As opposed to a high level of play by Skins DBs. Evans was eatin up Lattimore Sunday night n I suspect Brown might just do the same.Bucs did something no other team did when they beat us, stopped St. Brown, Montgomery, and Laporta from YAC.
Lions are extremely comfortable throwing short of first on critical downs, and trusting their guys to pick up the difference. In the Bucs game every tackle was instant, Lions fell just short of first consistently. No other team since has stopped it the same way.
that 'baby' voice for Jayden is hilarious!
It feels like they have been trying to throw Jayden the ball since week one. I think the running game will have a little more success. Running the ball on Kancey and Vea was never going to happen. If you're playing with house money, you might as well roll the fuckin' dice.
I hope the Commanders bust out as many tricks as possible. I hope they employ looks they haven't used yet. I liked the Mariotta under center, Daniels in motion look on fourth down they tried, and I would throw out of that look (probably not to Daniels though, unless he's wide open).
I'd go deep with a three te set.
I think that in order to win at the Lions the Commanders have to play aggressive and unpredicable on offense, and hit the Lions early and often, and get to Goff early and often on defense.
It SHOULD be a tall order because the Lions are the #1 seed.
The Commanders could win and very well might win.

Purdy carved them up....never know. That's probably true.
I don't know anything about Detroit's DL other than Hutchinson is hurt and they've lost a ton of players in defense.
I think the commanders have to run Chris Rodriguez who runs angry and punishes defenders - seemingly always falling forward. I think BRob is in a funk and hasn't played well in a few games now.
I think methoidcal drives that eat up the clock is the best way to beat the Lions, though I think the Commanders could win a shoot out too, to be perfectly honest.
If the Lions were healthy, I'd say that they (the Lions) should win by two td's. Since they're not healthy though, i think the Commanders have a chance.
I think the Lions will be extremely well coached too... I think Campbell has done a masterful job there.
