That was absolutely pathetic. Ryan is going to get a lot of grief, and rightfully so, but the bulk of this falls on Payton and his horrid play calling.

Yes! I told my cuz the same thing! U try to score when playin the pats!

Got conservative on the last 2 drives and that lost us the game. Can't keep giving Brady the ball time after time after time

True, those last minutes lasted an eternity. The longest 3 minutes I have ever watched.

The defense did indeed play it bad on the last drive...but SP had 2 drives to put the game away, and we got way too conservative

It's a pleasure watching the greatest QB to ever live play the game. What a win.

Same guy who kicked an onsides in a Superbowl......but it's all good. There's no other coach I'd rather have for this team, and we'll just have to make this a learning experience. We'll be ok

Offensive playcalling was horrid with the lead. The final drive was stupid fucking defense. 3 man rush, not guarding sidelines, and playing man with 11 seconds left. Brutal

Oh well, if they were going to lose, this was one of the games to do it (non-conference).

Great job, Patriots. :suds: Further exposed the Saints system. They can and will be beaten.

We were not exposed. What other team is gonna play like that against us other than Denver? And Bailey may not look as sharp against tightends. The pats should be lucky it will be a AFCCG with them and Denver considering the steelers, ravens, texans will not even make it at this point. No one, not even Green Bay, will win in the superdome during the playoffs.

Pats gave us opportunities to win that game and we didnt capitalize on it. We could have put them away.

Not impressed with what i saw from the Saints. I think Graham took the day off, because he didn't have one catch. For all the talk about him being one of the best TE's in the NFL, he sure did lay and egg today. And don't get me started on Drew Brees wasting time outs because he couldn't get the snap off in time. What an abysmal performance.

I tried hard to buy into all the Jimmy Graham hype. You couldn't turn an NFL how on without hearing his name in the first 30 seconds. But I just don't see it. He's obviously a weapon within their system. Like Brees, he's the product of a system. Put him on most other teams and he's very ordinary.

IMO, Drew Brees is easily the most overrated athlete since Cal Ripken. No close second. He's a 5' 10" system QB - nothing more, nothing less so don't let ESPN convince you otherwise.
