not sure what I was staring at. But I will take your word for it.
thing is the Saints were a balanced offense. Dink & dunk is most good teams nowadays. Unless you are always plaaying from behind no reason to do it a ton.
My question is. How well did he throw, when he did throw over 15 yds. Is he still good at it, or was he struggling?

PE1 was saying Dak sucked at the long ball because he didnt do it a lot. he didnt have too. Not doing it a lot doesnt mean you have a weak arm or cant make the throw. How successful you are when you do it is a way better barometer.

fair enough. the only thing i knew for sure is that Brees rarely goes downfield anymore and that's how Bridgewater is also, so their offense shouldn't change a whole lot.

The NFL track record for Oklahoma St products under Gundy is fairly terrible.

Steelers offense is somewhat relying on James Washington as a WR and will need to rely on Mason Rudolph as a QB.

That looks like a 4-12 team to me.

They'd be set up to take the top OT prospect to go with the top QB in the draft. Thats not a bad way to rebuild.

now all they need is for deshaun watson to go on IR and finish 4-12 and they would have 3 of the top 5 picks !!!!

Watson going on IR would probably make the Texans even with the other AFC South teams tbh. Jags and Colts have a backup QB and mariota is well...yeah..

that's an interesting division. i think the Texans are the best team but I expect the Colts and Titans to be pretty decent as well. If a few things were to happen (like, injuries to the Texans), i could see any of those 3 winning the division.

Tough but I'll go with the Steelers.

Saints still have a legit shot at making the playoffs even with Brees out and Brees will have enough games to finish the regular season that he should be up to speed by the time the playoffs roll around. In fact if the Saints do make the playoffs Brees being out might be a blessing in disguise considering how his play dropped in the second half of last season.

Steelers still had a chance to with Big Ben to figure it out and put together enough wins to get into the playoffs. Unlike the NFC the AFC wildcard spots are both wide open. I mean only 3 teams in the AFC look good right now compared to the NFC which is looking like a playoff worthy team will be squeezed out in a numbers game.

I was just inquiring as to when you completely lost your fucking mind?
Bring back Hammerdown?
That's like asking to bring back Smallpox.

Hey man, just switching things up here. You can only add so many Potato salad options and someone actually did VOTE to bring him back

They should be shot, decapitated and then sent to Detroit.

He's better than a good number of starters around the league imo.

Knows the offense and the personnel already and Hill will take snaps. Forcing teams to prepare for more than just standard offense with a couple trick plays sprinkled in.
Disclaimer: I like Teddy Bridgewater.

I like football and Ted Bridgewater sucks at football.

Of course, you being a Lions fan makes you the expert on sucking at football so maybe I should defer :noidea:

He is better than a good number of starters. NO without a doubt had the most depth at QB coming into the year.

And yeah, my first hand knowledge of bad football is vast.

Agree that the Steelers could be more f*cked than the Saints, because of what has been said. What sucks most is that two top tier QBs were damaged in week 2. Totally unexpected.

You are assuming Bridgewater will be the QB he was for ONE season and remember during that one season he only threw 14 TD passes.
And lets go hypothetical that Brees is back week 10 (bye week 9) for the Falcons.
If he beats the Jag's and Cards they will be 3 - 5 then yes Brees can get them back into the playoffs but that is if and only if he returns after 6 weeks.

Not as sold on Bridgewater being as good as others think he is, yes it will be great if he is but still not sold.

Just went into Seattle and won. 4-4 looking likely.

5-3 isn't out of the picture either now.

Saints will be fine as I said once the injury happened
