Sorry, but any poll that has my beloved 4-3 Dawgs at 12 is simply bat-shit crazy. I wish it weren't so, but it is.the sagarin ratings aren't that crazy when you really take into account SOS. the curious thing about them is the huge disparity between the ELO Chess and the Predictor ratings.
just so you know, these are not the correct sagarin ratings for the BCS.
here are the sagarin BCS ratings as of today
1. florida state
2. alabama
3. missouri
4. bethune-cookman (seriously, but since they are FCS they are discarded and other teams bumped up)
5. oregon
6. northern illinois
7. fordham (again, FCS, lol)
8. oregon state
9. virginia tech
10. coastal carolina (more FCS fun)
11. ohio state
12. north dakota state (fcs again)
13. auburn

Bethune-Cookman > Oregon.
Ok...I got them from here:
USA Today | Sports | NCAAF
and it states that it is based on games through 10/19/2013
1. Alabama
2. Florida St
3. Oregon
4. Baylor
5. Missouri
6. LSU
7. Texas A&M
8. Ohio St
9. Stanford
10. Wisconsin
It's ELO CHESS
"In PURE_ELO, only winning and losing matters; the score margin is of no consequence,
which makes it very good at retro-fitting the W-L results. The PURE_ELO will be used by the BCS. However it is
less accurate in its predictions for upcoming games than is the PURE POINTS, in which the
score margin is the only thing that matters. PURE POINTS is also known as PREDICTOR,
BALLANTINE, RHEINGOLD, WHITE OWL and is a very good PREDICTOR of future games."
