Don't worry, we all know the Sabres can't play a full 60 minutes, and will surely have a major collapse in the 3rd period.

If I was the coach and knew this, I'd tell my team to take off the second period instead of the third. If you take off the first, you're liable to be down by three or four which is tough to come back from. But if you show up for the first and take off the second (which makes sense, with the long line changes and all, why waste energy you could use in the third) you may only find yourself down a goal or even better tied - then you have all the third to even it up or take the lead.

If I was a coach, damn right I'd preach this - we need a solid forty minutes as long as it's in the first and third.
