Why would you throw to your worst player, on a bad route for the area, with a QB who's strength isn't that throw with zero threat of a run out of the play formation?
If you want to say it was the wrong play call, fine
If you want to say it was a bad throw, fine.
If you want to say it was a bad decision, fine.
But to say it is ALL of those things and yet they STILL nearly scored makes no sense.
I have plenty of examples of wrong play call, bad throws and bad decisions. And they never revolves extremely tight plays that could have easily resulted in a positive outlook.
AJ McCarron's pass on Sunday was an example of all 3.
