Winning the SB got Russell enough attention that he was the top selling player in the NFL in terms of jerseys, bobbleheads, photos, etc.

Lynch was the only non-QB in the top ten. He was 7th.
Sherman made the list at 12th.

At my house we bought a Lynch jersey, a Wilson Jersey, a 12 jersey, a 3'x5' flag, Seahawks socks and a 'Super Bowl Champs' welcome mat.

I think it's the kids and females who really juiced his sales numbers. Dec for Christmas, and through to the Super Bowl, parents were buying Wilson jerseys and shirts for all the kids. And chicks dig QBs so seemed the majority of the ladies sported #3 as well.

I have to say, that the majority of Wilson jerseys that I saw last season were worn by women. Now that he's single again, I expect those sales to really increase.

Tebow was the highest selling at one point, and we all know it had nothing to do with his football skills, or lack thereof. Russ has the 12th man faithful as well as the Jesus faithful, that's a lot of people.
