No surprise that the Broncos will be drafting a QB. It will be interesting to see if they try to move up, pick at 12 or move back and get a QB in later rounds. I still think they're going to try to get one in round one but we still have two months until the draft. A lot can change.

Yup.

Sure, in dollar figures its big. But the larger cap increase, ability to convert existing contracts to bonuses (richest owners in nfl), and the likelihood we draft a qb or start Stidham means the cap hit can be absorbed.

Russ was never as good of a QB as he has been portrayed and hadn't played a snap without Pete Carrol who was a great head coach. The biggest mistake was Paton and Penner giving him that extension without the real need to do so which was really the big mistake with all things Russ.

Russ seems like a good guy and does a lot in the community, but he also seems really phony and petty so see ya later.

All eyes on Payton as he better have a very successful offseason with limited resources if we want to start being competitive by 2025.
