Sounds like some one is trying to drum up trade interest. Cant blame them for trying, but a 3rd string WR when you have serious issues else where might be a hard sell.

Every year there are 5-10 Skill position players that apparently only come around every so often. Last year it was Watkins and Evans. This year its White and Cooper.... Next year it will probably be Treadwell and Boyd.

If we take White at five, I'm handing back the Kool Aid. That would be one of the most colossal mistakes ever. You don't need a beast WR if you've got a good line. If you have no line, it won't matter who will be running routes.

your not serious are you? you do realize there are gonna be 1st round talent tackles there in the 2nd round

I don't doubt that they represent value at five, but he doesn't represent a need. If we're stuck at five, take Fowler. Otherwise trade back.

Garcon didn't do jack last year D Jax is a deep threat and Roberts didn't really do much not only do I believe WR is a Need it's a major one we lack size and probably won't have those 3 for much longer

Maybe.. but then thats when half the board will be screaming for the pass rusher and saying... "You do realize there will be O-lineman that could start for this team still on the board in the third round right??"

Next thing you know we are drafting Mark Glowinski in the 6th round and talking him up on how he should be able to beat out Chester to start. Then six months later we are saying, well the line sucks, we are 1-5.. but damn the pass rush SHOULD be awesome.

Garcon is a legit receiver. His production declined because of D-Jax, piss poor oline, and bad QB play. If we're stuck on five and have got a choice between White and Scherff, the latter is a no-brainer.

Wrong again. The plan is to take a tackle in either the first or second round. I obviously believe we need to take an OG high as well, but somehow the brass doesn't think so. Here's wishing Spencer Long lots of luck.

Its a very real possibility that we do take a WR if we stay at 5. Depending on how the first 4 picks play out, a WR could very well be the BPA. And doing so would not be a colossal mistake. While we have 2 very capable WRs this year, its is very possible that one, or both, are gone after this season. So if Scot has evaluated White (or Cooper) as game changing type WRs, it would make sense. You can't pass up talent like that. Moreover, scot has stated numerous times that he is going BPA with that pick.

jesus!!!! people lets give murphy and jeffcoat a chance this year we will have a better defense this year. if scot built dline in FA what the fuck is he'going'do in the'draft'my money would be'on'he'will build the oline . what would happen if we draft schreff then some how trade back in to the first round to get la ell collins ?? schreff and collins
