You are correct. If you can force a 3 and out every series that works. The problem is when your offense scores in under 2 minutes and your defense gets to go back out on the field. If you give the other offense enough plays they will convert on some.

I'll tell you the reason: last year, new coach, new system, bunch of players not buying into the new regime.

This year: still a program that does not know how to win games, what it takes to win games. As the season has gone on, they've gotten better. Learning how to win, and most importantly, what it takes to win.

Have to remember, Texas has been down for 9 fucking years
