of course i said that. You know why you were told to leave. I was curious on what other posters thought about our team this year. what is wrong with that? Why is that crazy to ask another posters prediction? Who plays the victim? You said my prediction of 9 was absurd but nothing to the other posters who predicted that or more. If you are annoyed why bother responding to my posts?
Nothing wrong with asking others opinions on things. My guess is you ask so you can be right and prove it. I don't know. I do know that gambling and predictions are important to you. You have repeatedly talked about gambling on the team and taking the over. Hopefully you aren't out a lot of money on this.

Yes, I was told to leave because I was right about my evaluation on the team and you couldn't deal with it.

Yes, I said a 9 win and 11 win season was absurd.
How would I know what other posters think? I don't keep track of it because I don't care. I told you that. I have no clue what other posters think or predict about the season. I think I know sty and skinsdad...that is it. Game by game or small subsets of games are fun to discuss, but I have no clue what individual posters think when it comes to a full season.

You are right. I should stop responding to your non sensical stuff and let you reap what you sow when it comes to your yearly failed predictions.

Understood and let me rephrase.

With me...you cared about being right.
When the team got to 8 wins, you specially responded to me directly and claimed I had predicted 6 wins.

I pulled my 8 win prediction post from earlier in the year to refute your claim.

Bottom line, we are in the cusp of something very big here with the new front office and coach.

I hope you are excited and thrilled with these upcoming changes as you were with Rivera coming here. I hope we all agree that we are getting the team back and the future is bright. We should all be proud of what harris is about to do.

I would urge patience as these things unfold. We probably will struggle the next year or 2. You are very optimistic so I would caution against expecting a winning season or double digit wins next year. You would get frustrated if you or anyone thinks we are going to win the division next year.

The good news is that the team will be built correctly and with skill and talent. Hopefully we all catch that vision and support harris 100%. Good things are coming...finally!

I disagree...Obviously not saying run the ball 80% of the time however, throwing it 40+ times a game is not conducive to winning either. Our 2 front lines is where our identity should start. Build out from there.

50/50 doesn’t cut it with the rules of today.

I agree OL and DL are extremely number of pass plays is not as important as percentages. Many of our pass plays are nothing more than runs.

NO! Good coaches put their players in the best position to win, not properly developing Haskins was the opposite of that. Besides, I'm a bit tired of that lame excuse... If a GM had selected a player, the job of the coach was/is to make that player work in his system. What difference does it make that Snyder (if true) forced that pick? They got him, and the job was to make the most out of that pick, NOT bitch and moan about him "not being his guy" or that the owner wanted him for whatever reason. If a new head coach is hired, his job is to make the best out of what he has, and not bitch and moan about what he doesn't have.
'
Or perhaps RR took a look at Haskins and what he offered and decided (correctly) that this is not the guy. I don't see how you can blame the coach for the lack of development when it was the player who played video games when he should have been studying film. He had every right to be upset that his QB liked being a football player but didn't love football, no coach can change that.

Dad spelled it out very well, RR's personal decisions were as bad as it can get. But I have no problem with the way he handled Haskins. I mean he cut the owner's hand picked QB right? No problem with that.

did Synder pick Forbes over Gonzales last draft? Who gets the credit for that one?
Lol...
Play nice pday...play nice..

You forgot the amazing Jamin Davis pick to boss.

On a serious note, would Quinn leave DAL to coach WSH. I dont think he would as hebhas already gone down the head coach route and this is a most likely an expansion team type job. I don't think Quinn would be interested. He seems perfectly happy an doing well where he is at.

Quinn has had opportunities and seems selective. I think he wants better than the skins roster.

good post. Do you think by having Haskins on the roster had any influence in the drafting of Young by RR? Do you think RR was forced to play Haskins and couldn't go Qb at #2?

We will never know. I do believe he was instructed by Snyder when he was hired to give Haskins the starting job and to develop him. But Ron was able to bench and trade him so that showed me he was calling at least those shots.

But let's not pretend Chase Young was not the #2 or #1 player on most if not all the other team's board. The Chase Young pick was the right pick at the time, this is an inexact science and they never really know who will pan out and who will not.

Exactly i was onboard with the Young pick at the time. He was the best defensive player in the draft and RR is a defensive coach. So no one should have been shocked at the pick. But if Haskins didnt exist, I think RR would of went Tua. If synder instructed RR to play Haskins, then he was forced to draft Young at #2.
