Wonder if, outside of this alleged Foster signing, if Homer signs any other free agents. Eric Fehr and Jason Arnott interest me. So dooes Dominic Moore, but I doubt he signs anywhere for a while.

And looking at free agent forwards, in a total hypothetical situation, I wonder how close Cheechoo gets to duplicating his 50 goal season with another great playmaking center.

Sounds like Schenn is really pushing for that 1st line spot that Jagr had. This really excites me. This season already looked to be a breakout for Brayden, and playing with Giroux is just going to excel his progress.

interesting..

1. it is still sounding like mesz wont be ready to start the season
2. if that's what they want to go w/, it's interesting that they'd break up coburn/grossmann
3. however, it does pair a puck mover with a big body for each pair, aside from maybe the 4th pair which probably isn't capable of much of anything

Also read today the Guss is 2 weeks away from a return and that MAB has no time table with upper body (concussion) issue.Foster is apparently ready to go and Meszaros is close. Any other rumors out there?

Lubomir Visnovsky. He does not want to play for the Isle, is 36 and has 1 year left at $5.6 million. The Isles got him for a 2nd round pick. Not sure what it would cost to get him but the cap # would be a real problem. I think we would have the parts, young dman and a pick but $5.6 would be a great problem. Thoughts?
