Stroud will win because he did something in his rookie year that only Brady and Montana have done (in their primes) over the last 50 years.
Not that Stroud isn’t deserving (I don’t care who wins it) but Nacua broke a 60 year old record himself.Stroud will win because he did something in his rookie year that only Brady and Montana have done (in their primes) over the last 50 years.
A 60-year old rookie record...correct? Stroud put himself in the company of two of the all-time greats as a rookie. Not that Stroud isn’t deserving (I don’t care who wins it) but Nacua broke a 60 year old record himself.

I never agree with co anything awards.Yeah, I’m just saying that records were broken on both sides. Seems like a GREAT year to have co-ROY.
I guess it’s a lot kissing your sister.I never agree with co anything awards.
Just a cop out from making a decision.

unless you are Randy White & Harvey Martin playing in that game. Flip a coin that day.I guess it’s a lot kissing your sister.
While the TD/INT rate is noteworthy , basically all the passing yardage stats are completely meaningless in today's NFL. Every average Joe is putting up big yardage numbers. When Montana did it, it meant something. When Brady did it, we were heading in this new direction but it was still what, nearly two decades ago? Don't get me wrong here. Stroud had a really great rookie season but those cherry picked stats shouldn't be the end all, be all and should be taken into context. It shouldn't make Stroud the runaway favorite.Stroud did something as a rookie that only Brady and Montana have done (in the prime of their careers) in the last 50 years. He led the league in both passing yards per game and TD/INT ratio. That's ridiculous if you think about it.
Puka had a fantastic year, but Stroud should clearly be the OROY.
