So we still havent decided on what we are doing in this one.
I like the idea of just drafting 25 players from a certain 25 year period.
How about my second suggestion: I think it would be much easier than the other one
each team must draft 25 consecutive years, but use a year window of 60 years...
So lets say we do 1940-2000 so no team can end their consecutive year stretch after 2000, and nobody can start it before 1940...
And Rookie year is represented...
Problem with us all using the same 25 years is that the pool will shrink too quickly IMO... I think this way creates the most strategy possible...
If you want to shrink the draft and draft the teams to finish the draft that would be cool, but we would need to shrink the window too...
Or do it like thisI'm with Nos on eliminating superteams across the board, how about this.....24 man roster, $120 Million cap
Any player, any year
1st Ballot HOF-$20 million
Non 1st Ballot HOF-$16 million
Non HOF, MVP/Cy Young-$12 million
10 or more AS-$10 million
5-9X AS- $6 million
1-5X AS- $4 million
All others-$2 million

Or do it like this
BR WAR/10(rounded to nearest whole number) + 10 if the player made the HOF + 2 For every MVP/CY the player ever won.
25 Man Roster 300
Years( Must be retired by 2009)
Would be a fun experiment to see how much we actually like WAR...

Why must all your ideas require an hour just to try to understand them?![]()
Chirp chirp
My only problem with this is that at the end, it's simply gonna be whoever has the highest war wins. Takes the subjective part out, which is a lot of the fun of itNew idea...
25 man draft
we do a 10 round snake draft of all HOF and WAR over 100 players using BR WAR/10 + 2 per every MVP/CY
then we do an 11 round NON snake draft of Non HOF and nobody with a WAR over 100
order is based on who has the lowest points from the HOF draft
Lowest goes first in every round of the NON HOF draft
Highest goes last in every round of the NON HOF draft
in the 11 round draft one of your picks has to be a MLB baseball franchise, and after the draft is done you can finish your team with any NON HOF player that played for 5+ seasons for that team...
You may change those 5 players in every round when we do the voting...
Player must have retired before the 2015 season...

i don't follow your critique
