Find it hard to believe there wasn't a better offer out there. Dallas loses depth, but huge upgrade at PG obviously.

I thought Nelson signed a 1 year deal with Dallas?

boston got 2 young players and 2 picks 1 being a 1st. not super bad

Danny got what he could and he got the best that he could. Rhondo was gone next year and at least Ainge will get a 2015 1st round pick and maybe he can get Wright to signan extension. Nelson and Crowder are not junk toss ins.


It also helps the Celtics who have been hounded about trades. The next deal will be Joe Green and than Brandon Bass. Now all of the youngsters will have to show what they can do.

Wright is better than he get credit for though.

His per36 stats are pretty solid.

17.0 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 3.0 bpg and 1.2 spg.
