I think he was benched for like one series really, but so stupid...rules are rules, I get that, but fine the hell out him, but don't screw yourself by trying to make a point that the QB is not above the rules.

No, he was told he would not start the game because of the rule, he sat out the first play and his backup threw an interception. Thats why this would have been hilarious last week.

Even more screwed...one play? What kind of deterrent is that? Maybe if the backup hadn't thrown a pick on the 1st play he would've sat longer, but I still contend it's a dumb rule...just make them write a check and use the funds for charity.

Yeah, it was the opening series, which turned out to last only one play because Anderson threw a pick
