The implication is they were doing something illegal.

Kind of like Vick complaining about being on the ground after every play with no flag. He isn't saying that defenses are cheating. He's saying they're doing something illegal and should be flagged.

Or a defensive back like Revis holding all the time. If a player complains about it, the implication isn't that the dback is cheating, but doing something illegal that should be flagged.

Romo implied no different.

*Edit: For the sake of argument, let's say Romo WAS in fact implying they were "cheating", or even explicitly said they were cheating. How is this "rediculous" or something to even call Romo out on? If that's what they were doing, and it's illegal, it is Romo's right to bring it up.

Another example, and maybe even more relevant: The Steelers after Game 1 accusing the Ravens o-line of chop blocking. Nobody was trying to imply they were cheating, let alone saying they were cheating, but simply doing something illegal that should be called.

So he's saying Costa said it. Romo himself never stated it, nor said they were cheating. This thread is stupid as hell, pure Romo hate is all it is.

Grow up.

As to Flaming, yes, it was implied, and it was actually Costa that said it. Romo just vocalized it for him. Last time I checked, doing something illegal to gain an advantage is, in fact, cheating. If the Redskins were cheating, then they should be punished.

Ok. since this argument is getting tired and worn. Lets say, for the sake of argument, that Romo/Costa are telling the truth.

Why did they not bring this up to the refs DURING THE GAME!!!

The word used is plural "Miscuses", not singular "miscue"

And even so, how long has the center been playing this game... at least from high school, and this has NEVER happened to him until now? laughable. simply hilarious.

Up until today, I simply didn't prefer Romo or the Cowboys...

now... they are just douchebags.
The Dallas Douchebags.

my judgement is final.

So then the question leads to, do you agree with the original premise of this thread? That Romo is ridiculous to state that the Redskins were "cheating".

If not, then basically you're just here to argue semantics.

I know it is. I didn't post it on the dallas board, I might as well be insulting their wives and children. I bitch about it here where folks already know I hate the dirt bag irrationally.

Agreed. Basically Romo is being criticized for saying the Redskins did something they did.

So this thread in summary: Romo is a douche for coaching his no name receivers at the line and repeating what his center said about the skins D-line. What a terrible human being, that Tony Romo is.

That is clearly not how I see things.

he coaches receivers... good.
he acts like it's their fault he didn't tell them clearly what he expected... not good.

he repeats what the center said, putting the blame on the center and accusing the redskins dl of flagrant cheating... unproven, and not good. If you didn't bring it up during the game, it might as well have never happened, and probably didn't. Even if it is true, bringing it up, as it has no consequence, is still a little douchey. Why wine over something thats done, and inconsequential? It doesn't add up, so it's not true. clearly 2 douchebags who are trying to save their jobs by passing the buck. so clearly in fact, that anyone who believes them is :charlie:

I don't think he's a douchebag for saying the Redskins cheated (I agree that it's odd that he didn't bring it up to refs during the game if he didn't). I do think he's a douchebag in general, and overrated.

Hmm...if it were inconsequential, why would it be illegal?

If 2 players are saying something happened, it probably did. For a fan to deny it, they better have some evidence.

Some people's hate knows no boundaries.

I wonder why the Steelers players and coaches bring up during the game that the Ravens oline was chop blocking...they didn't, so it must have never happened. [/sarcasm]

don't talk to me about logic anymore.
There is no evidence to support Romo's claim.
There is film evidence for the Steeler's claim. no comparison.
Hell, if I knew you were a romo worshiper too, I would have just avoided the topic like I have to avoid Palmer. It's like quick sand. When fans worship a player like Palmer or Romo, they are unable to think logically and critically about said player.

You have no logic, nor does it seem like you have the capability of following any since you obviously can't even follow your own:

You said, "if you didn't bring it up during the game, it might as well have never happened". I responded that the Steelers also didn't bring it up until after the game, so based on your theory, that would mean it never happened with the Steelers.

Pretty dumb and irrational logic since the video showed that it DID happen. Hence, just because something isn't brought up during a game, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Not a difficult concept.

It's like quick sand. When fans worship a player like Palmer or Romo, they are unable to think logically and critically about said player.

This coming from the same guy who said:

"heck yea it's romo hate." and "I bitch about it here where folks already know I hate the dirt bag irrationally."

And you were talking about others judging a player illogically?!? I have a hard time believing anyone could be this dense...this whole thread must be a joke.

Finally, I couldn't give 2 shits about Romo. Despite knowing it won't lead anywhere, I just have this problem of having to respond to people who base their opinions off little other than personal feeling. It's usually pretty easy to poke holes in their arguments.

Same general situation with Carson.

This thread is going to be bumped by either you or me when the NFL is done reviewing the issue.

It isn't a Romo love thing, it is a Romo hate thing. You are trying to find SOMETHING to hate on him about. His young WR's run the wroung route, so Romo is to blame for not, I guess, calling a timeout and drawing the play in the dirt. Heaven forbid it would be the coach or even, GASP, the WR's fault for not knowing the route!

You are a joke. You popped off with a stupid comment and are getting called out for it. Props I guess for sticking to your stupid comments. The smart person would have just said "you know what, I just hate the guy because he is rich, famous, married to a hottie, and I'm envious of him". But, you stick to trashing him for something that isn't his fault on an anonymous message board...that makes you MUCH cooler.
