Totally fair value IMO.

The Jets had to give up a lot. It’s a true franchise QB. Sure it is only for a couple of years….but it is still a franchise QB.

The most hilarious part of this is when the draft hits and the Packers will FINALLY invest in pass catchers the year that they trade Rodgers.

Mayer maybe. Wilson, Lazard and Corey Davis are a pretty good set already.

Otherwise probably OT.
Wilson, Lazard and Hardman.

Davis will be dealt most likely.

I think the Jets gave up a bit more than necessary but it wasn't a ridiculous amount to give up. I still have to give the Packers the nod as winners of this trade though.

So let me get this straight:
The packers had a hall of fame quarterback and fucked it all up

The oddsmakers appear to take it at least halfway seriously. Their Super Bowl odds opened at +2800 and have now moved to +1400. There's only 5 teams getting a better chance to win.

The Packers have been pretty consistently stacked with quality players and good coaches and Aaron only got them there once.

Not sure what all the optimism is about him going to a team that is likely not as good nor as well coached as the Packers.

I mean he's gonna be 40 in December... he's coming off one of his worse seasons, he's been mentioning retirement every year....

I mean at most I think the Jets get one good season out of him. And even if it's a decent/good season, is not enough to go deep in the playoffs? Eh, maybe... but I don't see them as now favorites to get to the Super Bowl.

Again it's not a bad grade for the Jets, it's just not a great one either.
