If you get banned for telling a mod to fuck off and they ban you, they should never have been a mod. I get told to fuck off here damn near daily when I'm posting regularly.

I can see trying to hurt the site getting you a ban, but simply having it out with someone who is a mod getting you a ban, that's weak sauce.

Tell me to fuck off in an IM or email was par for the course, and just a thing. @Nod4Eight was a huge critic of how moderation was handled there at times, rightfully so in most cases, and we are friends in real life. Seems the modding here is handled differently, each has their own bailiwick, and does not tread in another's. There, it was packed into a single board, requiring more mods on the board which led to inconsistent standards. Thus the rightful criticism.

I do, however, expect consistency as you know and have no problems letting those who are charged with policing us know when they've demonstrated inconsistent judgement.

I was not banned, but I could have been since I visited the TCU Board. I made a few posts, but I didn't post any **** and didn't call out any mods at any time. Thanks to those who were banned from that board and knowing I visited but was not banned for not calling me out here or there. When I realized what was happening, I migrated here anticipating being zapped there. But, I kept my head low and apparently I was spared - which I appreciated from them.

That being said, I finally signed out, turned out the lights, deleted the bookmark and am gone from there for good. Just left. No final message. Was a happy member there since 2001 (as AlaCyclone) and 2014 (as 78Cyclones). I am VERY HAPPY here though and glad that the nucleus that rocked Rivals found a new planet. BTW, this is my 3rd Planet, as I was a member of FansOnly before it blew up. Was @Shaggy part of FansOnly? Sounds familiar for some reason.

Are there other former FansOnly members here? I think FansOnly blew up around 2009? Hard to remember for sure.

Meh, hard to take her word considering the pattern of behavior she's exhibited. Seems rather disingenuous, but I have no fucks to give so I don't find myself particularly bothered by it.
