RGIII injury

Seems to me with RGIII there is never any fluid continuity.

Their team (offense) might actually play better with Cousins at Qb.

Not saying Cousins is better, just the flow of the offense seems better.

I honestly was liking RGIII as the starting QB of the skins. Now I am gonna have to pay attention & see how this turns out.

well we will find out about Cousins as RGIII has a dislocated ankle and will be out for weeks if not the whole year

For what it appears the Skins want to do, Cousins seems to make more sense. Griffin's strength was his mobility, or in other words, the threat of his legs doing a ton of damage. That made that read option work for them. You take away the thing that made this guy exceptional to start with, and I really don't know what the point is in even having him.

Agree. If a team took advantage of his legs and he could stay healthy he'd be dangerous. I just font see him making it through a season no matter what kind of offense he plays. I've said it before and mean it if he ever put it all together he'd tear a lot of teams new ass holes.

Cursed would have been trading Cousins for a 4th rounder and THEN RG3 getting injured. IM one of the most critical fans of RG3, but long term this might actually be better for him if he truely is going to become a pocket passer. Short term it might actually be better for the Skins if Kirk Cousins can do a decent Andy Dalton impression.

Depends on how the team is looking when he comes back. If cousins has the team winning games, you dont make a change. Realistically griffin is out until at least week ten. At that point you dont make a change unless Cousins is either sucking badly, or the team is losing AND Cousins is sucking badly. Mosyt likely we dont see RG3 again this season and NEXT offseason we have a QB conundrum.

Granted against Jacksonville, but imho, Cousins is the better route if you're trying to win football games.

In other news, my auto drafted FF team is now in business - I got stuck with RG3 and his RG3 points this week with a whopping 11 for the deuce. So hopefully I can scoop up Cousins and save the year.
