A question about the odds and payouts........lets use horse racing as an example if a horse is 2-1 and you bet 2 dollars on that horse to win you WIN 4 dollars and get your 2 dollars you bet back, so your payout is 6 dollars........

If the horse is 3-1 you WIN 6 dollars and get your 2 dolalrs back, payout is 8 dollars........

ON the SportsHoopla bookie i see odds as 2-1....you bet 25 and get 50 returned.........thats even money or 1-1 odds is it not?

Yes, you are right on the first part for the adds.

You are looking at it wrong for the SportsHoopla Bookie part. If it shows 1/1 (2) it is even money so if you get 25 you win 25 and get your 25 bet back like this bet you made that you are asking about.
