Probably no one watching, but I flipped to the game just now and Arozarena's HR AB is 100% worth a watch. He just absolutely set the pitcher up on the 1st 3 pitches, stepping out and just letting the pitch go, then on 3-0 he absolutely destroyed the ball down the middle for the HR.... that was pure 2001 courtesy of Tom "Wimpy" Paciorek who coined that phrase. He was a guest commentator for most of that year because either Ron or Dave was dealing with prolonged illness. He said something like even with 2 outs the M's were getting base hits/rbi's seemingly whenever they wanted, and 2 outs so what became the catchphrase.

it's antithetical for the current team which is the most un-clutch team out there other than the white sox. "two outs...inning over?" would be more appropriate.

i see the m's won the last 3 in a row. too bad houston also won their last 4 in a row, including a sweep of the mighty angels.
