Reid & Lemonier very young for rooks

Reid & Lemonier will be 21 until December & November respectively.

The only defensive prospect I can remember who's younger than they is Damontre Moore, who's like 9 months younger than Reid. I'm sure there are a few more, but I can't remember any.

Just something to keep in mind in case they start off a little slowly. Anthony Davis was the 2nd youngest player in the NFL when he was drafted.

I think Aldon was pretty young also. I think he was 21 and didn't turn 22 till September maybe?

Aldon turned 22 in September of his rookie year.

By comparison, Sheldon Richardson (who a lot of people wanted to trade up for) already turned 24. Kinda crazy that Aldon has already been in the league for 2 years, and is younger. I guess that happens when you can't qualify academically for a D1 school for 2 years in a row..

Defensive tackle drafted by the Texans in the 1st, I want to say Okoye was his last name but I can't remember.

You're thinking of Amobi Okoye. Texans drafted him. He wa sa bust.

He might've been lying about his age though. Foreign players are natorious for that in certain countries.

Edit post: David Boston was 20 when he was drafted, not 19. Thought he was 19 for some reason.

Alec Ogletree's another one of the younger guys in the draft, but Reid & Lemonier are both younger by 3 & 2 months respectively.

David Amerson is 2 days older than Reid but younger than Lemonier.

I found that too, but I realized that they put January 1st next to someone's name when they don't know a guy's birthday. And I vaguely remember seeing his birthday being listed as being in March or February one time.

But maybe he is a New Years baby. That would be lame. Everyone's hung over for your bday.

Yea I figured as much kinda weird that his birthday isn't listed on the web never seen that for NFL prospect before a Dominican Pitcher well thats another story

I forgot about Sharrif Floyd, who's a very young 20. I think he was the youngest defensive prospect in the draft.

It's good to get them young since that usually means they haven't completely grown into their bodies and have longer NFL careers ahead of them.
