"Who" is going to blow the game?
"What" inning?
The rest may as well be "I don't know, Why, Because, Tomorrow, Today", and where we'll all end up at SS....
"I Don't Give a Damn".
Don't look now but Votto is 4 points away from falling under 200, The best hitter on the team outside of Cozart is Bruce is batting 273, Duvall batting 267 everyone else is batting under 250.
So unloading Delabar, Jumbo and Sampson is the first legitimate show that the Reds are at least irritated by problems they caused themselves. Did they really think these guys could spend 2 weeks in the minors and mysteriously become MLB relievers?
Actually, the purge could also include Blake Wood without much pain.
I doubt this helps much but the fans got tossed a cookie.
Reds' Josh Smith: Recalled from Triple-A
Smith was one of three arms called up on Sunday to provide the Reds with bullpen depth. Through eight starts at Louisville, the right-hander owns a 3.86 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.
Reds' A.J. Morris: Called up from Triple-A
Morris will come up to provide bullpen depth, possibly in long relief, as the right-hander has already made six starts at the Triple-A level this season. Through 30 innings in the minors, Morris owns a 2.70 ERA and 1.37 WHIP.
Reds' Dayan Diaz: Called up by Reds
Diaz has already tossed 14.1 innings in the minors this season, posting a strong 1.88 ERA with seven strikeouts and four walks. He'll provide bullpen depth at the Major League level.
Managements thinking is lets keep Stephenson, Reed, In the minors so they can hold onto them longer. These guys could probably help the team.
I still think the Reds are on a record breaking season for loses. And management doesn't give a shit because they gave up on this season before it started to save money
