Also looks like Crabtree will be out for this one. Sat out practice on Friday and was limited the rest of the time. Cooper will play but sounds like he is nursing an injury as well.
We don't know that yet. And even then then we have Roberts, Patterson and Holton to take the minutes. We good. You guys have Roby out Hmm

Roby's not out. Not sure where you heard that. He took a day off earlier in the week but that is it.

He isn't even listed as questionable on the injury report. He was a full participant. Only player that is out is Lynch. Latimer is questionable but all others are a go.

Well I am 99% sure what you heard is way off. He would be listed as questionable on the injury report instead of listed as a full go for the game. Now if your info came from like 2 days ago when they held him out of practice to rest up a sore ankle I could see why some might say that. Updated info though is that he is a full go and no worries about him playing.

It s just what I heard dude. Again we shall see who suits up come game day. Maybe he plays just like Crabs, or maybe they don't. We just have to wait and see. Either way, ain't nothing slowing these trains from colliding.

Key to the game.

Run the ball stop the run and hit the QB! Nothing fancy, just pure straight up power football.

So it seems you got that one right, Hmm.
But it don't matter man. We will play you guys with what we have. We pretty deep at WR. The RAIDERS will pass to the TEs, RBs, FB and WRs.

I wouldn't call them deep at all. Beyond Cooper (who hasn't been good so far this year) and Crabtree they just dont' have much. Roberts as the #3 WR only had 5 catches on the year for 39 yards. Patterson is more of a gimmick type WR than an actual player you would trust to go out on some routes. TE wise Cook is alright but nothing special. He worked with the best QB in the NFL and still couldn't do much in Rodgers and is showing about the same with the Raiders of being that 400-500 yard 3-4 TD type TE which isn't terrible but far from the top guys. RB is the one position as a receiving option that scares me in this game. I actually said that in my podcast that I do that if the Raiders are to win this game it will be because of turnovers and/or the RB's getting loose in the passing game for big gains.

Did deeper...Where are the Broncos vulnerable in being able to stop the run and where are the weak to be able to run against them? Would you attack with blitzes to get after the QB, trust your front-4 to get hits on the QB, what type of blitzes if you were to actually decide to get after the QB? What kind of matchup game would you play with the secondary? Which player in the secondary would you look to try and isolate if you are Derek Carr to get a good matchup?

The reason for that is Coop and Crabs hog all the action, as well as our run game. You only have so many footballs to go around. If Crabs don't play Roberts, Patterson and Holton will split his minutes. Roberts can catch TDs, heck he caught a game winner against you guys, remember? Holton is another guys who can make plays. And Patterson can play. This game wont be won or loss because of Crabs.

And we don't need nothing special at TE, just a guy who can move the chains, and catch a TD here and there.
Not every player is a super star in this league, and yet those kind of players win games.

The RAIDERS are good at running the ball, just because you guys seem to be good this year at stopping the run don't mean the RAIDERS will stop trying to run.

Run he ball and win the TOP. Wear down the Bronco defense, big plays will follow. They always do.

We want to stop the Bronco run and force Siemen to beat us. Rookie LT and Watson at RT? I like those odds for the RAIDERS. Mack against Watson and MEJ, Irvin v Bolles

What players would I isolate if I was Carr? None, I'm attacking all of them. The no fly zone is giving up TDs.

Not saying every player is a Super Star which is kind of the point. There is a drop off from Crabtree to Roberts. Now the loss of Crabtree won't decide this game but it is a loss that allows for the Broncos to game plan just a bit differently. They will trust whoever is on Roberts to cover them 1-on-1. I mean they do have 2 All-Pro CB's for a reason. This means they can swing coverage to Cooper's side and force other players to win battles that haven't proven they can at this time.

Roberts already has a game winner on you guys, I think he knows how to play that secondary. Like I said, it wont only be Coop and the WRs that will attack that defense, but all the skill players on offense.

I guess about the response I expected. I'm sorry but this isn't anything beyond the very basics of football you are discussing here. Dig deeper so we can actually talk about the ins and outs of football. Such as against the Raiders they struggle with coverage over the middle and communication. This showed up big time on the games I watched. So what I would do is do some trip WR sets and try to confuse them of who goes where with some crossing and out routes to see who can get open. I would send Jamaal Charles out before the snap to check to see if they are in man coverage and if he is isolated on a LB man I exploit that matchup all game long until they adjust. No LB for the Raiders can keep up with Charles. I"m running some double moves with the WR's on the outside and Sean Smith, Amerson, Carrie have all bit big time on those type of moves for big plays given up. I'm also running the football right at Irvin when he is in as he is a huge liability against the run. I'm also double if not triple teaming Mack and making any other player beat us for the game. These are the types of things I"m talking about. run the football and stop the run doesn't mean much.

So one play makes him great? If that is the case why isn't Terrell Pryor still your starting QB because of his one great play? Dez Bryant caught a TD against the Bronco secondary earlier this year...guess what else they did though they also had 2 picks and one fo those taken back for 103 yard TD. One TD doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

I don't care what they do as long as they run the ball. Ask any HC from high school to the pros, what do you have to do to win? RUN the ball and stop the run! We ran for what when we beat you guys? 200 yards or so? Nothing fancy about that game plan. The team that wins my method WILL win. When you can run the ball it opens up the playbook. Whatever pass plays you want to run will most likely work, for that fear of the run game.

And as for our LBs not covering Charles? We don't know that yet if they can or not. They played pretty good the first two games, they gave up some yards but not that many points up until that Redskin game. Points win not yards. We gave up 27 to the Redskins and you guys gave up 26 to the Bills. Seems like both teams gave up what matters? Points.
