He is fine for 4 quarters... as long as he isnt asked to do alot of coverage in those 4 quarters. Reed is an in the box SS. Not good in space. He doesnt have the speed to play in space. Although he does have the smarts for it. the only way he doesn't make roster is if there is just one of the young guys we can not slip to the practice squad. He might not get extended past this year, but I dont think he losses his roster spot this year.

Every team needs a couple of reed doughtys. They are ready when they are called, they know their roles, the excel on STs. Hell, they are probably the unsung heros of the team. They aren't stars and never will be, just consummate team players. We lost a good one in Zo, hopefully we can find a few more.

Reed has been the longest tenure safety is Washington for many years. That is for three different coaches. The guy is a football player.
