Gallup 1st half 3 - 81 and a TD. Gallup 2nd half 0. I agree with what Romo or Nance said about Gallup ready to break out (think it related to comments from DaK). Sadly I saw him in 1 on1 a bunch of times in the second half with no safety on his side and we never found him the ball again.

For what it's worth I think the penalty at the end of the game was a good call. If Wash didn't come offsides I don't think they call it but he cradled the ball and moved it forward slightly and I think that is what drew the DL over

Replay clearly showed you are correct. Was good call at a bad time.

Where did I give Dak a pass? He is not a great QB, I don't think he ever will be, but he played well today. He fumbled in the end zone trying to make a play, well guess what sport, they showed a clip of Troy Aikman fumbling in the end zone as well, did he suck? Tough spot is coming up for Jerry on Dak though. Game managing for a million a year is one thing, $20 million is another. I wouldn't think of paying Dak $20+, but I'd bet the farm the Cowboys do just that

If our QB were named Rodgers, Brady or Brees .. heck, if his name were Wentz, Goff or Mahomes, I'd say he played a mediocre game. For Dak, that's his B+ game. It is what it is

He has played both ways. Last week he looked good. Today not so good. Some of that can be at the fault of others like JG OL. Going to let the season's end help me to decide one way or another. Garrett is much more a concern.

That is true. He played well last week. JG and o-line were awful this game as well. Conner is not ready to start IMO.

Something we often fail to consider how much Dak and Zeke compliment each other. If one has a good game so goes the other and vice versa. Dak can not carry this team without a run game and no WR play makers. That is asking to much for any QB. imho.

I get your point but disagree with you. There are a lot of QB's, at least 14-15 off the top of my head, that if they were facing the constant stream of man to man coverage the Cowboys face because of Zeke, would eat secondaries alive, and in turn, move safeties and LB's off the line of scrimmage, in turn helping Zeke more. At least enough to score more than the 13 our D gave up today

So I don't get this. If he follows the same routine it isn't a penalty if he does it the same way every time even if he does move the ball? I may have to rethink my thoughts that it was not a penalty if true. But he clearly did move the ball

Another interesting comment I read on social media:

1st and 10 at midfield with 52 seconds to play and a timeout. Cowboys ran three plays, gained 15 yards and purposefully burned 45 seconds off the clock. That, to me, is the story of the game

Tough to argue when I was screaming myself for them to not settle and try to gain another 10 yards or so to make it a gimme.

On the whole Dak did/didn't play bad. I wouldnt say he was bad, but he did make enough mistakes where he was good. He had his good plays and his bad plays. He was average and he has to get better, or the team has to move on from him.
