Popular school even with kids on the other side of the Bay. They talked to my nephew but would only offer him walk on status. He went to WV and played D-II. I was hoping he would walk on at Salisbury. The Ravens owner went there.

Here is my take. I'm very disappointed in Ben Johnson. I don't think he was afraid to take the job, I believe him when he said he wanted to stay in Detroit after speaking with his wife. He does have unfinished business there. So I don't see how the Commanders did anything wrong, you can't make someone do what he does not want to do. But how he handled it was classless.

My next choice was Macdonald. I too wanted a young up and comer. But we have no idea if these guys can transition to head coach, countless successful coordinators have failed as head coach. So that leaves us with Quinn which felt like a let down. It is a safe if uninspiring hire. Hit on the QB and every head coach looks good.

Quinn is a decent hire, but is he what is needed at this time considering their projected drafting of a QB with the #2 pick, or was his hire the result of having little choice when the music stopped in the coaching merry-go-round?
