Hopefully you have enough to at least get through the Bengals. Then come Monday you make a trip to the liquor store and you're ready for the Tuesday debacle. Me, I'll have to survive Tuesday sober because my workday Wednesday starts real fucking early.

Same problem. My Wednesday looks horrible..... It might be a tough day.

Anyone have a prediction for tonight's torture session?

In some ways I agree with the notion that this team is maddening and wins right when you expect the very least. But, I can't help but think they just don't have it and Pittsburgh does.

Cueto gets knocked around early and only lasts 3 and 2/3 innings..... Reds offense is weak per usual. We lose 7-3.

You might think I'm crazy, but I see Cueto pitching a gem tonight and the Reds winning 2-1.....then they go to St Louis and get totally embarrassed in a 3 game sweep. That would be imminently more painful than just flopping tonight, which is just what we all expect.

I can completely believe it.

What's sad is this.... If Pittsburgh loses tonight, the entire city will be devastated. If the Reds lose tonight, most of the city will be relieved.

I'm almost wishing the pain will mercifully end tonight. But as a Reds fan, I know it's never merciful. I think the Pirates would stand a much better chance vs the Cards than we would. That's exactly why the Reds will win tonight.

As the first pitch approaches, new attitude, just for the next few hours. No complaining about anything, I'm a homer for the rest of this evening. After all, isn't that the point of being a fan? The playoffs? Of course I reserve the right to start bitching again as soon as the game is over.

Whoa! Cueto hustling out there. Maybe he's going to give some effort tonight.

For the record, I predicted he'd be chased early -- Just didn't think it would be this early!

I was off by a third of an inning.

Bet big on the Bengals this week!

BTW -- Let's hand it to Dusty. You have one game to decide the season and you pitch two bums that spent the summer in the training room. Neat strategy.

I am not sure Cincinnati sports teams could squander more talent via poor coaching if they tried.
