I thought the first game had more to do with a great pitching performance by an all-star. Sure glad we traded him for Sean Marshall.

Last night was an odd game. Clearly something was wrong with Cingrani. Regardless, we really blew a chance here and we at least need to salvage something tonight and hope the frontrunners trip up for once.

This continues to be the most heartless, unlikeable team I've seen in some time..... I'm now actively rooting for the season to end.

Have they won games this year? Yes. Have they delivered any magical moment or any sort of hope for even better days? No. I think excitement peaked on opening day at the parade. The rest of the season has been frustrating. Difficult to say for a successful team (record wise), but definitely true.

This might be a tough week. The Bengals play in Cleveland -- Which gives us at least a 50% shot of being extremely disappointed tomorrow evening. Then we play a one gamer in Pitt on Tuesday..... I probably should have stocked up on booze this weekend.

The man makes just too damned much money. Look at the biggest contracts of the last ten years, I mean the 10 year, 200+ mill contracts, and show me one who panned out. Votto is actually producing better than most have, but I believe any baseball team that guarantees contracts for ten years is stupid.

I suppose it's also worth noting that over the past two seasons (pretty large sample size), the best baseball this club played was when Joey injured his vagina.
