No player is worth $200 million, but of all the players getting paid $200 million in the last couple years, Votto is the most worthy and is likely to have the least amount of decline over his contract period.

On paper, the Griffey deal was still a steal for the Reds. It was the injuries that cost him.

Votto didn't sign when he was 29 though.Votto has been up since he got here.Griffey really wasn't in his prime then...atleast his #'s didn't show it.Griffey was a good fit for what we needed at that time.But like you said,the injuries was what hurt him.Don't get me wrong!!...i'm a big Griffey Jr fan!!

Reds looked good today. That play by Rolen in the 2nd or 3rd was a thing of beauty. Good to see Bruce get out to a good start. Cueto pitched like we all expected him too. I think this is going to be a very good team this year.
