0-4 since Rolen's return. Coincidence?

Probably..... He certainly did more to help us win than lose yesterday.

The big issue is the pitching. Some of the guys that were hot now are getting shelled. We absolutely need a win today - Cueto vs. a bullpen pitcher.

Here comes the collapse before the all-star break. 14 games to go, I bet we win 5 of them.

Five hits in seven innings and our pitcher has two of them.

Stay hot boys.

I wouldn't say he failed miserably. He pitched "OK". Not exactly well enough to win, but kept the team in the game.

It doesn't help when your pen comes in and your best guys blow the game wide open for the other team.

Latos. Dominant last night. No other words needed.

Leake has been money in has last four or so starts. Doesnt have the best stuff but seems alot like Arroyo in that he understands how to pitch

Leake should probably start in left field when he isn't pitching.....only a slight exaggeration......

bases loaded with nobody out and you can't get a run in? If you can't do that then you dont deserve to win.

This team can't manufacture runs.... The only time we score is when one guy gets on and the next guy hits a homerun. I actually am starting to believe we'll win our division, but our inability to move runners over and manufacture runs will make us look like clowns in the playoffs.

Yeah, they need work on the little things...like getting a bunt down, moving the runner over or adjusting your approach to hitting with a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs. I thought Hannigan would get a runner in...that was a really poor AB for him.

I think we'll be lucky to get into that gay 1 game playoff thing.

I think our division is weak and we'll win by default. Pittsburgh played this same act last season - They got hot around the all-star break and made people believe they might make the playoffs. The crashed back to earth by late July. St. Louis really hasn't been any good at all since the first month of the season. I never count them out because they find ways to win, but they've definitely been hit with a lot of injuries. And we still have 11 left to play with the cubs, 8 with san diego and no more american league games.

I'm just hoping we don't get no-hit in the playoffs again.
