Do Your Job!
I was looking at "situational stats" for Edelman and although he is 2nd in receptions in the league, he is much better when not used wide - though still respectable.
Dobson has not been his best over the middle. Quick-hitters to the left are much better than the right.
Thompkins is much better on quick-hitters to the right, he is not good wide right or over the middle.
Amendola is not good wide right or wide left
Boyce is 0-3 wide right
Now what can be said about this?
Brady missing all wide outs?
Dobson good wide right?
Thompkins good wide left?
Josh putting receivers in the wrong plays?
That last drive against NO was great but watching Edelman getting creamed at the goal line was brutal
Watching Dobson getting a 98MPH fastball in the slot right and dropping consistently.....
Send Dobson wide right
Send Thompkins wide left
Edelman is a go to guy in the slot and occasionally deep but if you keep going to him deep, you are going to get him killed!
