I have never seen that Panthers-Patriots superbowl. I got married the day before that game, and was on a plane to Hawaii on Superbowl Sunday.

If I had had any inkling that they would make the championship that year, my anniversary would be Feb 6 instead of Jan 31.

I will never watch that game.

However, if you go on and on about how I know nothing about the game, and/or, if you tell me that you don't even want to play in a league with me, and that you are only playing to play with everyone else but me, then you may have an issue.

Nah BigD I have never had an issue with you. And I do agree with you about gloating on a normal basis, I won a H2H this year also and never said the first word about it. I try to live my life by the rule of "act like you have been there before". My only problem with that is I have never been there in a Roto league. This and if the Lions ever win. Shit if the Lions win a SB do not come to the daily thread the next day because I will take it over and be gloating for a while.

Yep.

Basically the Indians are the Yankees. They play exceptionally well against shit teams, but if they play any kind of quality team they get beat.

A lot of people have forgotten about that because the Indians haven't played a quality team since they got beat 2 out of 3 against the Royals 2 weeks ago, but they'll be reminded Wednesday night.

If they had managed to win the game, you can believe I would have been the fourth person to call SI and order a year's subscription to their horrendous magazine so I could get the "Panther's Superbowl Championship fan pack," including the video of the game.

I found out about the outcome from a waiter at some Kalapaki beach restaurant, who informed me that "The stupid Panthers cost me 50 bucks."
