Cause the NFL and NFLPA are negotiating to include HGH into the drug policy the tradeoff being to amp up the marijuana from 15 mg to 150 (which is what the IOC uses) and taking amphetamines out of the performance enhancing to the 'street drug' group which would make the suspensions of Gordon and Welker lower. The Rice case would not help with these negotiations and the NFLPA would walk away from negotiations if they added games to Rice's suspension . That said Goodell dropped the ball on that one
