Bryant McKinnie is looking less and less like a guy that will even play this season. That moves 'The Blind Side' to, well, the blind side.... Matt Birk is a quality football player but definitely on the backside of his career and they replaced Ben Grubbs (a very good guard) with Bobbie Williams (more known for his false starts than his skills these days). Flacco was already antsy in the pocket -- This could get fun.

With McKinnie absent during Thursday’s practice, Michael Oher switched from the right side, where he played last year, to McKinnie’s former spot at left tackle. Harbaugh almost made it sound as if the switch is permanent, an ominous sign for McKinnie, who is due to make $3.2 million in 2012 if he makes the team.

“Michael Oher is the left tackle,” Harbaugh said, “and just for the record, we’ve always believed Michael Oher is a left tackle here. We were going to put the five best linemen out (on the field) last year and Michael was at right tackle. I’m very comfortable with Michael at left tackle. Until further notice, he’s a left tackle. My point is we’ve got to find a right tackle and there’ll be a heated competition for that spot.”

Saying he needs to find a right tackle certainly makes it sound as if the team isn’t counting on McKinnie.

- McKinnie no showing

From my enjoyment of watching the Texans toy with his confidence. The Ravens awesome D bailed him out again that day.

Besides, I'm just grasping at straws here..... Everyone knows Flacco is the best in the NFL.

Michael Oher is way overrated as an OL. He was sketchy at RT let alone trying to protect Flacco's 'blind side'. The Bengals took alot of flak for the 09 draft but Andre Smith is the best lineman taken in the 1st round out of Monroe, Oher and certainly Jason Smith (was that his draft?). If Andre can keep his fat ass on the field I think he'll be the best RT in the AFCN and one of the best in the AFC....and Flacco looks like Mr. Slave for fucks sake.
