So someone who agrees with your opinion is called a friend. Someone who doesn’t agree with your opinions needs to think. Got it.

So where do you put Brady?

Nobody thinks of him as a Buc no more than Brees being a Charger or Peyton being a Bronco or Stabler being an Oiler.

Earl Campbell a Saint, really? Ronnie Lott a Jet, hahaha!!! Bob Hayes a Niner? Randy Moss a Niner? O.J.Simpson a Niner?

The guy said a dumb thing he knows it.

.....QB's down to the top 10

Tom Brady Michigan/Pats
Sammy Baugh TCU.Redskins
Drew Brees Purdue/Saints
Otto Graham Northwestern/Browns
Peyton Manning Tennessee/Colts
John Unitas Louisville/Colts
Aaron Rodgers Cal/Packers
Fran Tarkenton Georgia/Vikings
Brett Favre So. Miss/Packers
Roger Staubach Navy/Cowboys
Russell Wilson Wisconsin/Seahawks
Joe Montana ND/Niners
Big Ben Miami Ohio.Steelers
John Elway Stanford/Broncos
Dan Marino Pitt/Dolphins
Warren Moon Washington/Oilers
Philip Rivers North Carolina/Chargers
Eli Manning Miss/Giants
Terry Bradshaw La. Tech/Steelers
Dan Fouts Oregon/Chargers
I would eliminate Rivers for sure. Hall of the Very Good candidate imo but will likely be HOF. Had some really down seasons and struggled against better competition after starting off really hot.

Eli Manning and Big Ben also seem easy to eliminate.

From there, Terry Bradshaw looks like someone who wouldn't make the cut. Great player just not near GOAT QB status. Steelers were known more for their defense. I'm sure we'll get some disagreement there.

So I can get it down to 16 easy. Remove Russell Wilson because he isnt there yet (but he will be), Fouts for not winning enough. Probably Fran Tarkenton, too. 13. Last 3 cut would probably be Moon, Favre, and Elway.

Its not really something you can be 100% certain about because the game has changed too much. So ultimately everyone's list is just a guess outside of Brady, Peyton and Montana

I do look at all pro, passer rating, playoff success, pro bowls. Was a guy considered to be among the best of his era?

Obviously we all have our thing but a few things simply can't be debated. Yes Tom Brady is THE GOAT, yes Lamar Jackson the fastest QB we have seen, yes Joe Montana will always be on that QB Mount Rushmore.

1. Russell Wilson

The rest don't matter because all QB's are now only judged by what they did their first nine years in the league.

So just ignore that TB12 won a Lombardi Trophy his first three trips to the playoffs. He wasn't even good enough to start as a rookie. What a chump.
