too bad he was wrong because he said there were 3 and two of them were past my 50 year time line. Wrong again Skippy
yes? I’m missing your point. It was posted before Ragnow. At the time of my post 3 had gone in the last 5 years all after pick 20
Nope the discussion was late August 2019 in this thread well after Ragnow was drafted
Well I hate to inform you, but it is you who is wrong.
No the reason you deserve 100 facepalm is you continue to believe where positions are drafted = importance. Teams use premium picks on positions that are hard to fill, thats why you see QB, DE, LT and CB drafted early.
This is 2016 long before your first post, so no moving goalposts ok.
Picking a center in the first round of the draft is rare, but could be fruitful
Selecting a center in the first round of the draft is unusual. There hasn’t been a center drafted in the first round since 2013 when Dallas selected Travis Frederick with the 31st pick.
- There have been a total of just eight centers taken in the first round since 2000. Mike Pouncey was the highest center taken in the draft of those players. Miami took him with the No. 15 pick in 2011
- Frederick (2013)
- Mike Pouncey (2011)
- Maurkice Pouncey (2010)
- Alex Mack (2009)
- Eric Wood (2009)
- Nick Mangold (2006)
- Chris Spencer (2005)
- Jeff Faine (2003)

Same team.

Greatest Punter ever!
Why can’t you be honest. I said almost verbatim... Centers never go in the 1st round. There has been only 3 in the last 5 years like Fredricks.
Heres the offensive line statistics for the last 5 drafts
T 106 (18 1st 16%)
G 61 (4 1st 6%)
C 32 (5 1st 15%)
Center positions don't open up on teams as often and its usually harder to play(depends on the offensive scheme). I agree that LT is the most important position on the line because they protect the QB from getting hit from behind, but in addition to blocking the center has to handle snaps short and long, call changes for the line, and identify blitz packages.

If you've admitted that you've moved the goalposts multiple times in this thread then yes that's a dead topic. That post adds NOTHING to a dead topic. Yeah, teams drafted good Centers in the first round. Wow! That’s really amazing information. Jesus bro and he was wrong. 2 of the 3 he selected were before my “last 50 years comment”.
I mean is this really what your life has evolved into during this world wide crisis? Spending time face palming posts from years ago and then linking an article that has absolutely nothing to do with mine or anyone else’s posts. Teams landed excellent Centers in the first round. Wow! What ground breaking information!

Now tell me why your concerned about 2 out of 3. Is it because they were drafted after your comment?
depends on persons skill level. Some can handle a much more complicated playbook.1-reverse cowgirl
2-doggie
3-missionary
That’s the problem. I never went from 1st round to top 20 to top 15. I don’t understand why people make up false sentences and attribute it to me.
The 2 out of three weren’t drafted AFTER my comments. They were drafted more then 50 years before my comment. Get it?

he went through months of arguing this stuff. he knows all the jumping around he did with all the posters that were trying to correct him. throughout several different threads.Actually you went from not in the first round to not top of the first round.
Exactly. He's too damn stubborn to admit it. Thing is if he had 5 guys defending him here he'd say, "Everybody knows it"he went through months of arguing this stuff. he knows all the jumping around he did with all the posters that were trying to correct him. throughout several different threads.

Timeline says Wentz was fine before and immediately after the Dallas game, then he comes up with this "Injury". Excuse for benching.Yeah, kind of like when 5 guys said Wentz did get hurt and you kept denying it. Like that type of 5 guys defending it?
