Series Thread: Rangers Will Try To Leapfrog Angels At Home This Weekend - April 28-30

I didnt follow Lucroy much before he was traded to the Rangers but aside from the power surge he had the month or so after coming to Texas, he really hasn't been good any many facets. His defense and receiving were highly touted and he generally hit for a decent avg.

I know this season is young but at this point I don't think he is a 15-16 million dollar a year guy. His receiving hasn't been great and his bat has been pretty terrible. Plus he isnt that young. Hopefully Trevino is coming soon and they can trade Lucroy for pitching prospects at some point this season. He better get it going both ways though, or his value will take a hit.

Too late now but its disappointing what we gave up for he and Jeffress, for what we have gotten in return. Hindsight always wins

Neither do I. We need to concentrate on signing Yu first. I doubt seriously we can/will do both.

The best thing GoGo has done is leaving Houston. This guy is fun to watch and hope he is a Ranger for awhile longer.

I'm happy for Profar to get sent down. Hopefully he can get some regular AB and work on a position or two, and b/c the player we/he wants him to be.

Hopefully it relaxes DDJ and Rua into better plate appearances as well.
