Talk about a need for a physical therapist. This team does. Get your butt back here. This makes me sad.
Battle for last place....... Will it be enough to fill up the park?
Well, hold on Wastin. If Neffie improves more and more, we might not need Soria. I'm not advocating it, but a last second trade may not be out of the picture. Depends on how desperate teams become. Better be for a MLB ready prospect stater or some such. The last few years the trade deadline was an exciting time with the Rangers. Not this year.

Just a year hiatus. We'll be buyers again next year I'm sure. JD better be using this time to evaluate players and saving his pennies. Should be an expensive and busy off season.Well, I was actually talking about in regards to picking up someone in trying to take us deep in the playoffs. It's a bummer to be a seller instead of a buyer. I hope we can make some prudent moves to help bolster our pitching for the future.
Last year we finished 91-71 not counting the playoff game, 20 games over 500. We are 38-50 now for win/loss differential of 32 games. Would you all take over or under on 42 game differential? That means 22-32 the remainder of the season. That would be good for us. I know, I am in a bad frame of mind. But only when it comes to the Rangers. Anything else my Psychiatrist will see me through it.![]()
The problem I see here is we have no idea if Derek or Fielder will return fully recovered. Remember what was said of Harry and Colby?. I for one am like the Missouri boys. Show me. Better go get that big bat and starting pitching. If Derek and Fielder make it back ok great. No time to gamble if we want to get back in the race next yearI know our rotation will be better next year, but I'm still having trouble seeing how this line-up is going to be much better next year. I think it will be better obviously having Fielder back, but it's not like we were setting the world on fire with him in the line-up. We need another run producer in the middle of the line-up. I said it before this year that the bottom of the order would have trouble scoring if Rios was our #5 hitter. I didn't expect the top of the line-up to struggle like this, but who could've predicted EA would be this bad w/ RISP.

I would watch and see if Cruz resigns with Baltimore or not. If he does they may have to trade for a another bat. Sure most all our FA money will go toward pitching. I cannot believe they will go into next year banking on a healthy Mitch Moreland.I know our rotation will be better next year, but I'm still having trouble seeing how this line-up is going to be much better next year. My point is solicit a starting pitcher maybe two. We will need them no matter Derek's condition. IMOWe should get a good idea on Derek this year.
