I dont like Feldman either and its not knee jerk. If the game means nothing then I am fine with Perez. The game more than likely will mean HFA and perhaps the division. If Oswalt pitches well tonite then Wash may have another option.

Sorry bud, but I'm pretty sure you were one of the ones screaming for Perez to take Feldman's spot earlier. Did you not think there was a fair chance he'd throw some stinkers? The truth is Texas doesn't have a 5th starter worth a damn. At least this way you have a prospect getting valuable experience.

Yes I did expect him to have some tough moments. Actually I thought Perez should have been getting some experience earlier. My only concern here is that on Monday when we play the A's facing Parker again lets say with a game in hand on the Yankees or in a tie do you put Perez in that situation. I am saying no for this game. If Wash goes with Perez and he ptches well then I will gladly be wrong

The focus is clinching the division, then getting key players rest and setting up your rotation for the playoffs. Getting hfa would be great, but shouldn't be the primary concern.

This is a tough stretch for the team so getting that HFA may be alot to ask. Just hate playing in NY where we struggled there this year

The Yankees may be a non issue. Baltimore could easily over take the Yankees. Also, do you remember how much Texas struggled in Yankee stadium in 2010?

Good Grief Josh you SUCK! Take your lazy entitled self and go play elsewhere. I couldn't care less. And take your RF with you. You and Cruz are such prima donnas you make me sick. Seriously Cruz hits one 500 foot bomb a month and is absolute garbage every other day. Both are about the laziest outfielders I've ever seen.

And playoffs? This team loses today and tomorrow and they can make fishing plans now. Other teams are pushing and playing well headed into the playoffs and we look like complete dogshit. This team has NO chance even getting out of the 1st round, if they even get there, playing with their thumbs up their but like they are right now. They make me sick. Especially you Josh. You are such a big baby.

You mean that series that we won in 5 games when the Yanks had HFA. Yes we did play well there and beat P.Hughes
and A.Pettite in NY if my memory serves me well. I would just rather face Sabbathia and Pettite in Tex and then Kuroda and Hughes in NY.

Sometimes I think our young arms are more hype than pitching ability.

No sense in wasting a bunch of arms in this dumpster fire of a game. Just lose 20-3. Who gives a rip. The Rangers don't. Let Yoshi and Lowe throw about 5 innings and call it a day.

Better strap it on tomorrow. Lose that one and the whole house of cards starts to fall. What an unmitigated disaster this game has become.

By the grace of god, it's not really a disaster right now, with them only leading by 2.

It damn sure feels like a cluster fuck though.

In 2010 TEX had HFA vs NYY.

NYY was the WC and beat MIN #2 in the ALDS while TEX the #3 beat TBR the #1. TEX, therefore, had HFA in the ALCS beating NYY in 6 games ... not 5.
